HONG KONG!!!
Classic Red Hong Kong Taxi |
I went to Hong Kong with a friend in 2016.
Aside from watching Air Crash Investigation before a trip. I also try to watch Anthony Bourdain's show of the destination I am going to.
It is in one of those shows that I learned about Hong Kongers staple breakfast food — Macaroni Soup with Ham and Egg.
Macaroni soup is not new to me. We have sopas here in the Philippines. It's also the same. But we don't put a fried egg in it. We put hotdog instead. Same level weirdness, I think!
I didn't get to try this Macaroni Soup with Ham and Egg while in Hong Kong. Because I wanted to try other Hong Kong/Chinese local dishes.
Now that it has been three years since my visit to Hong Kong. I decided to bring Hong Kong to my dinner table. So I made my own Hong Kong Macaroni Soup With Ham And Egg: Filipino Sopas Edition!
