Sunshine and Raindrops

I'm Walking On Sunshine

I didn't see any sunshine.

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head

I didn't see any raindrops.

Minsan Sa May Kalayaan

He sat beside me. I took a glance of his face. He looked soo much like somebody that I used to know, or I still know but haven't talked to in a while. He's a big guy. Tall one I suppose. We were sitting so I wouldn't know for sure. Wearing his black tshirt and a denim pants. I decided to check out the shoes --- DAMN IT! I said, "Puurfect!" It was a pair of chucks.

His hands i could recognize. Even this guy's shoulders.

I wanted to hold his hand. I wanted to lean on his shoulders. But I couldn't. Because...

He's a random fellow jeepney passenger!! XD

'Cos I'm a Wanderer

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.[1]

Welcoming Rodents

I will never forget my first night here in my current apartment. I moved in all my stuff around four in the afternoon. The sun was still up and noises from the outside of the house like tricycles and neighbors chatter were present. By the time when that the darkness and just when I was about to prepare myself to go to bed. I grabbed my toothbrush nd hand towel to freshen myself up, I found cockroaches in the sink area they were so many I hurriedly brushed my teeth and fly back to my bed.

Few days after that memorable night, my landlady assisted me to move to the 2nd floor as we have agreed. Another first night that IT had to use the simk to brush teet h I found another clan of cockroaches in the kitches, they were everywhere!!

No question about how clean is this old house that I live in. The question lies what is beneath this house.

So long, my very hospitable rodents!

We were both young..

Listening to Taylor Swift while waiting for the results of my chest ultrasound inside this hospital. So classic.

I've said it a thousand times --- I DISCOVERED TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!

Back in October of 2008, I was soo into this guy I met during my high school friend's wedding. We were paired up by my friend, Jackilyn and the groom, Bryan. He was Bryan's friend from College. I was told that I'd be partnered up with Bry's friend who was a little, too, picky with love. At dinner, the night before the big day, Kevin, the bride's little sister, gave me some hints about this mystery man. That guy was a med-proper student and an absolutely smart guy.

At the wedding, my partner was late!! Big fail. I didn't walk the aisle with him. It was at the reception when we got the chance to walk as partners. He wasn't a good looking guy. Not so tall. Shape? A little heavier than normal guys. Fair complexion. Wears glasses. Nope, he wasn't my type at all.

Maybe two or three days agter the wedding, I cyber stalked the guy on facebook. And I got more curious. I asked for the guy's blog. And the rest is history.. I liked him for his posts. :-)

I got addicted to reading his blog and felt some love. I was a little high, I used google to help me out in finding the right song for my mood. And they gave me Taylor Swift's Love Story.

The song was only played on local radio around February of 2009.

Now, at the hospital..
waiting for the results,
wishing for one last glance.

Fuck Yeah, Leonardo DiCaprio!

I love speeches. And the Dark Side.

Darth Vader gives a commencement address...

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Vassar College class of '99...embrace the
Dark Side. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, The Dark
Side would be it. The long-term benefits of The Dark Side have been
proved by the Dark Lords of The Sith, whereas the rest of my advice has
no basis more reliable than my own meandering cruelty and conquests.

I will dispense this advice now...

Enjoy the power and beauty of your planet. Oh, never mind, you will
never understand the power and the beauty of your planet until after the
Empire has destroyed it in a futile attempt to find the Rebel Base. But
trust me, in twenty years, you will look back at photos of your home and
recall, in a way you can't grasp now, how blissfully ignorant you were,
and how fabulous your planet really looked before it was a pile of
burning space rubble. Your planet is not as dull as you imagine.

Don't worry about the Rebellion - or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to make the Kessel run in a landspeeder.

The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed
your twisted mind. The kind that fire a direct hit into your reactor
core at 4 PM on some idle Tuesday.

Do in one Death Star officer every day.

Scheme.

Don't disobey the Emperor's orders; don't put up with people who disobey
yours.

Hate.

Don't waste your time on Storm troopers. They can't hit the broad side
of a barn.

The battle is long and in the end, it's only with yourself...and your
idiot son.

Remember the prophecies of the Emperor; ignore the whinings of your
bratty upstart farm boy of a son. If you succeed in doing this, tell me
how.

Keep your old light saber, but change your costume slightly with every
sequel.

Destroy.

Don't feel guilty if you have no misgivings about joining the Dark Side.
The most interesting people I know didn't have any respect at 22 for
their victim's lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year olds I know
still don't.

Have plenty of minions.

Be kind to your right hand, you'll miss it when it's gone.

Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't. Maybe your son will join you,
maybe he won't. Maybe you'll convince your daughter to become a dark
Jedi and assist you in your campaign of hatred and destruction; maybe
she'll become a rebel leader and marry a scruffy-looking nerf herder.

Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate
yourself either - your destiny is guided by the Force - so is everybody
else's.

Enjoy the Force. Exploit it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it
or what other people think of your "sorcerer's ways." The ability to
destroy a planet is insignificant next to its power.

Kill. Even if you have no one to kill but a meaningless extra.

Listen to what the Emperor has forseen, even if you don't follow his
prophecies.

Do not take your mask off, it will only make you feel ugly. And
vulnerable.

Get to know your parents. You'll never know when they'll turn out to be
your arch enemies.

Be nice to your siblings. They are your best link to your Jedi lineage
and the ones most likely to become Jedi in the future.

Understand that lackeys come and go. But with a precious few, you
should keep from crushing their tracheas. Work hard to bridge the gaps
in geography and lifestyle, for as the more desperate you become, the
more you will need to send bounty hunters to do your dirty work for you.

Live on Dagobah once, but leave before you get foot rot.

Live on Tattooine once, but leave before you get heat stroke.

Travel. Preferably in your own custom TIE Fighter.

Accept certain inalienable truths: rebellions will rise, the Imperial
Senate will have to be disbanded, you too will get old. And when you
do, you'll fantasize that when you were young, rebels were easily
crushed, the Imperial Senate was subservient, and citizens respected
their Emperor.

Respect your Emperor.

Don't expect your son to rule the galaxy with you. Maybe he'll give in
to his anger, maybe he'll strike you down, but you'll never know when
he'll whine pleadingly and you'll find yourself turning to the Light
Side and saving his sorry butt.

Don't strike down your old Jedi Master, or he will become more powerful
than you could possibly imagine.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply
it, or I'll crush your throat. Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing your humanity from the depths of sin,
wiping it off, putting black body armor over the ugly parts and
redeeming it for more than its worth.

But trust me on the Dark Side.

Another Chance

Exactly almost two years ago when I was sitting inside a conference room facing
a group of panel from ABS-CBN Star Cinema's Creatives. I had to choose a Tagalog
movie and defend it to them. Tell them Strength, the Weakness, the O, and the T
of the movie I chose. With all the courage I could pull out inside my body and
all the creative juices that I could get from my brain, I tried to make them
believe that I could be the one. The writer that could make her bosses laugh and
cry through her stories. A writer who'd closely collaborate with other bunch
of other writers. A writer who could pour her heart out and touch millions of
audiences.

But how could someone do that if I, myself, haven't experienced love. Endured
pain. Get hurt. And, I, who is someone who hasn't offered someone all she
can offer for the happiness of someone she really loves.

ONE MORE CHANCE.

I must admit that I haven't given this movie the enough attention it deserves.
As someone who'd been a Hollywood movie fan, I have never ever realized that
a Pinoy movie could ever make me cry. Not once. Not twice. Many times.

Ako ba si Popoy o ako si Bashang?

I would write down all the quotable quotes from this movie, if I wasn't
wiping up my tears the whole time.

Ang sakit sakit.

Maybe I have never really experienced love. Maybe I have never been hurt in
my life. I was really affected. Every line in this movie touched me. I could
see me playing a role of either one of them.

Naiintindihan ko na. I am really really sorry. I love you. Good night.
