I Timothy 6:7

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Fine Friday

Paulo Coelho, one of my favorite author in the planet, tweeted pretty interesting quotes on his twitter this week.

Monday:

The wise jumps into love. The fool tries to understand it.
Wednesday:

An interesting life is full of questions. A boring life is full of answers.
Am I the wise or the fool? Do I have an interesting life or am I living in a boring one? I have figured out what my answers were straightaway on which of these is me.

Well, I hate to accept that I am the fool trying to understand love but I'm certainly delighted that I have an interesting life that has full of questions. That's totally me!

Trying to understand love and full of questions in life. What can be more miserable than that?

Cheers! ..to jobs that pay the rent!
Oh wait, I don't rent. And yeah right, I don't have a job.

I watched RENT, the movie. It's a nice nice movie. I can't afford to go to Broadway and watch the real thing so.. I have been craving for this movie ever since I saw it's trailer years back. I got more intrigued when I found out that someone I knew (and liked) like its OST and I trust his taste. I also noticed that many sodahead users liked this movie that much, they can watch it over and over. Rent RENT now.

The opening of the movie surely got me with this intro song, Seasons of Love, performed by the whole cast.

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure?
Measure a year

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife
In five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure a year in the life?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love
Seasons of love
Seasons of love

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty five thousand journeys to plan
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life of a woman or a man

In truths that she learned
Or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned
Or the way that she died

Its time now, to sing out
Though, the story never ends
Let's celebrate, remember a year in a life of friends

Remember the love
(Oh, you got to, you got to remember the love)
Remember the love
(You know that love is a gift from up above)
Remember the love
(Share love, give love, spread love)
Measure in love
(Measure, measure your life in love)

Seasons of love
Seasons of love

(Measure your life, measure your life in love)

Wouldn't it be fun to be on your own,
be independent and pay for your own rent?

Someday we'll know.. why Samson loved Delilah.

Before there was Romeo and Juliet and Jack and Rose.. there was Samson and Delilah in the Bible (Judges 13 - 16:31).

Samson by Regina Spektor has been released in her album Songs year 2002 and Plain White T's Hey There Delilah was in their album All That We Needed released 2004. How could I possibly missed these magical songs back in those years?

I first discovered Regina Spektor while watching MYX. I was watching her music video Fidelity and I didn't get the song. I hated the video; the ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-aart lyrics irritates me, the video was dull. I changed the channel. One time, I once again saw the video and before the video ended, I knew it, I love her music! Samson was Regina's next hit after Fidelity. After hearing Samson, she became one of my favorite artist. How she plays the piano is lovely too. But Samson's music video wasn't that impressive.

Channel V on the other hand, let me discover Plain White T's when I saw their 1,2,3,4 music video. Instantly, I fell for the video, the lyrics and the already-taken-cute vocalist Tom Higgenson. I was so hooked with the song so I googled everything about the band and downloaded all their songs available. Doing this, I encountered their hit Hey There Dalilah. The song struck me the first time I listened to it. The music video was ordinarily extraordinary done. The lyrics is so sweet and simple in the same ways as the guitar plucking in the background.

Two lovely songs. high.

II Peter 3:8

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

We are the Children so Let's Heal the World.

"Think about, um, the generations
And say we wanna make it a better place
For our children, and our children's children
So that they... they...
They know... What's a better world for them
And think... They can make it a better place..."

You Know WIT?

..I still have this crazy idea that MJ is still alive. No seriously. Maybe he just want to run and get away from the crazy paparazzi and the manipulative press. I want to believe that he's just hiding somewhere and will get another plastic surgery so that people would not recognize him. He could go on and live like a normal person that he never experience in his entire life. He should just hide for a year or so, then go back to his children.

Long live, MJ!
